The hotel is a fantastic option for a relaxing getaway. the location is perfect, with a private area right by the lakeside. the staff is very welcoming and always ready to help, making the service top-notch. the food is delicious and traditional, and we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in a private tatami room. the onsen is spacious with lots of amenities, a major highlight being the outdoor view of the lake. the rooms are huge, clean, with high-tech toilets and very comfortable beds, making the stay even better.
The private onsen is only indoors, unlike other comparable facilities.

The hotel facilities were impressive, and the onsen was clean and spacious. The private room for dinner and breakfast was a nice touch. The shuttle service to and from the train station made transportation easy. The location by the lakeside offered a scenic view and proximity to restaurants.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Spent Christmas in a traditional Japanese hotel and it was a great experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and they even gave us a small gift. The onsen was a relaxing experience after a long day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed the local food, especially the sushi. the location was perfect, right by the lake and close to the water temple and public foot baths. It was easy to get transportation to nearby train stations.
The room was dirty and outdated, it was hard to sleep comfortably. There was no temperature control, so we were either too hot or too cold.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP, from picking me up at the station to ensuring all my needs were met throughout my stay. The room was spacious and had a stunning view of the lake. I loved having my own private dining area where I could enjoy delicious meals, including the special Kaiseki dinner. The onsen was clean and relaxing, and I also enjoyed the free open-air footbath just outside the hotel. The location was perfect, right by the lakeside and in a quaint neighborhood.
If you're looking for a hotel that provides enhanced comfort and quality services, I highly recommend this place to families.

This hotel stole my heart during my business trip. I liked how helpful and kind the staff was , it made me feel welcomed right away. the food was also a highlight of my stay, traditional and flavorful. Another aspect that I enjoyed was the spacious onsen with a variety of bath necessities , perfect for relaxing after a long day of work. the location near the lake and the water temple was also a big plus, allowing me to enjoy a beautiful view and immerse myself in the local culture.
I can't think of anything that I disliked about this hotel. Everything was simply perfect.
